Amy's Story

I married when I was 19 years old and quickly moved to Newport News, VA where my husband worked in the Newport News Shipyard. After losing his job we moved back to Oak Ridge in 1979 two years after my daughter was born. After 16 years of marriage we divorced. I have 2 grandchildren ages 1-1/2 years and 1 month old. rful man. He is my soul mate and best friend. We celebrated our 17th anniversary last month. I have worked for the same company, ORTEC, now AMETEK, for 30+ years. I've held many positions in the company but for the last 7 years I have worked as an inside sales engineer. I'd love to hear what everyone has been up to since graduating in 1974.
