Kevin's Story
Way too much to tell. Life so far has been quite a ride. Who knew I would end up a financial coach in Utah of all places. Certainly not me.
I am new to this whole social networking thing so I am not quite sure how to get in touch with people. My wife finaly talked me into an account on face book but I don't know how that workds either. I always thought that if people wanted to get a hold of me they would simply google my name and get my contact information from my web site. It looks like I might be wrong. So is this the better site or is face book?
Here is my story in a nutshell. After graduation I served an 18 month mission for the LDS Church. I came home in 1982 and got married in 1983. I started a business or two and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1988. One business went well and we opened offices in 7 cities, and shaped the way directory service is off...Expand for more
ered today. Our company was the first to offer the call completion and the ability to look up companys by category. By 1999 we employed 500 people and I had a million shares of stock worth about $5 a share. With a couple twists of fate we were out of business by Jan 2000 and my stock was worthless.
I divorced my first wife around 1992 and was re-married in 1995. My oldest daughter is 17, and I have 2 more daughters ages 7 and 5. I have one son, age 3.
In 2000 we moved to Salt Lake City, UT where I did some software development while I finished my BS in information technology and my MBA. I also started studying investment stratagies and now do investment coaching.
My wife teaches 3rd grade and for the most part has been able to stay home with our kids. She sings competitively in an international womans barber shop organization, and has won serveral awards.
