Norma's Story
2015 - In January 2014 Robert "Corky" Sparks started e-mailing me and soon we were talking on the phone and in April we got married. He was a cheerleader at Riverside and graduated in 1946. We dated some back then and are very happy to be reunited.
2014 - I am now Professor Emerita of Management at San Francisco State University, having finally retired last year. My husband and love of my life, Fredo, passed away in 2012, so now my life is very different. Now have 5 great grandchildren - and I guess there will be more. some former classmates.
2009 - I am still teaching at San Francisco State University as a Professor of Management in the College of Business - although now it is half time as I officially retired last year but plan to continue teaching half time for 5 years after retirement. Still married to Alfredo Ruffino and living in San Mateo. My daughter Erica (formerly Carrie) lives nearby and so does Fredo's daughter and her family. The rest of my family are in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area - 2 sons, 6 grandkids and 4 great-grands. I still travel quite a lot but slowing down on other activities a little. Try to get to DFW at least once a year.
