Sherry's Story
Chic and I have been married for 25 years (second time for both of us) and it feels as though it was just yesterday. Chic has a son and I have 2 daughters and a son. Between us we have 5 incredible grandchildren ranging from 16 to 6. I have traveled extensively over that last 20 years, with my job and in the process I learned to scuba dive, which has become a life changing experience. The ocean is a different world and I am helping my 16 year old grandson get certified so he can experience it with me.
I have been in the pharmaceutical sales industry since 1983 and currently work as a district sales manager in Columbus, Ohio. My motto: ¿I shall not go silently into the dark night of age...Expand for more
¿ but I will fight it every step of the way¿. I sorely feel the aches and pains of acting younger than I am and expecting my body to comply. I work many hours (bit of a workaholic) which does lend to my success, so I work hard at play, cycle and weight train to keep the stress under control. (Or at least try)
Chic and I are very involved in our church; he plays in praise and worship (trumpet and percussion) I teach Sunday school, although I am taking a break over the summer. Life has not always been easy, sometimes I wondered how I would make it through, but life has been good and I have learned the art of being happy. Looking forward to the day I can retire and start a new adventure.
