Darla's Story
After high school, I pursued a degree in Social Work. Following graduation, I worked for several years in infant adoption. In 1991, when the Andover tornado hit, I worked with the Red Cross as a volunteer. A couple of years later they hired me and I've been working at Red Cross since. services and oversee disaster response for the state of Kansas. I love my job, but it definitely keeps me hopping! In the midst of all that, I got married. My husband's name is Jon and he's absolutely the best man I know. We don't have children, but we do have two dogs (yorkie and poodle) we treat like children.
