Calvin's Story
Hello all,
After graduation June 1967 I moved to Red Bluff to attend Shasta College. Transferred to Healds Business College in Sacramento. Got the Greetings notice from Uncle Sam and earned an all expenses paid vacation to a little place in southeast Asia, called Vinh Long. Spent another couple years in the Army and CA Army National Guard attaining the rank of Staff Sergant. 2 1/2 yrs active and 2 years national guard. the departments Training Officer. Thouroughly enjoyed firefighting and working ambulance as an EMT II. Retired early due to back surgery.
Married Karen, a Red Bluff native in 1972 and have two grown children Mike 1973 and Amanda 1983 and one granddaughter Chloe 1996.
Enjoy family and outdoors. We have three hunting dogs. Two labradore retrievers and a Brittany Spaniel.
The 40th reunion in 2007 was a real treat. Can't wait to see everyone at the next reunion.
