John's Story
Hello Folks,
My name is John (Bucky) Howarth, I was born in Lowell, however grew up in Tyngsboro. I played Basketball and Football and really enjoyed my experiences with Tyngsboro as it was in the 60¿s and 70¿s. Friends I remember most from my neighborhood would be of course The Yates family, Mark, Scott, Lisa and Ronnie. Mr. and Mr. Yates were like parents to me. Mrs. Hobbs, Ms. Blake, Mr. and Mrs. Graham. My first girlfriend was Karen Sargent. She was one of my best friends from 7th and 8th grade. Other friends I would have considered to be best friends. Steve ¿Bug¿ O¿Neil, Rick Renault, Wayne Hellewell, George Turner, Kathy Curran, and Scott Cornell. Best memories hanging out at Warren Riley barn,riding motor cycles with George and Kathy. ing I did snap out of the Hippie mode, started to put my life together. Met the most interesting person in my life, fell in love and married Elizabeth Hill from Westport MA and Wells Maine in Aug. 1986. Moved to Wells Maine in Feb. 1987, Son Adam born in April 1991 and Amelia in March 1994. As for employment I worked within my degree for years treating patients in Psychosocial Rehabilitation. I have been working for the Department of Veterans Affairs for 30 years. I am presently Chief, Environmental Management. I have been a Call Firefighter for 30 years as well as the recruiter for the FD in Wells ME. I am an officer in the Ocean Lodge of Masons; I am a Melvin Jones recipient in the Lions and an Elk. I love to ride my Harley, Yamaha snow mobiles and Kawasaki 4 wheelers.
I look forward to retiring in 2015, Kids finishing college, time alone with Liz. Hopefully all the kids that hang out in our Barn leave when our kids do.
