Frank's Story
Although I moved away from Greenville at the end of my Junior year in 1955, most of my school years were spent at Greenville Jr. and Sr. High Schools. While at Greenville HS I played all sports, as well as the sousaphone in the band. My step-mother, Edna Rhinehart was the high-school business teacher. My dad worked at Cheney's (sp?) lumber mill. After a stint in the Air Force, I graduated from the U.of N. Colorado in 1963. Joined the U.S. State Dept. as a Foreign Service Officer and diplomat; serving in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean, before retiring to a cattle ranch in Missouri with my Swiss-born wife, Brigitte. I have a daughter, Tonya, who lives with her husband and 3 sons in Maryland.
