Sharon's Story
Graduated in '69, married for 31 years to Jack Clayton (class of '63) had two sons, Brian and lost our oldest son Scott(10 years ago); Divorced in 2000. I have worked for the US Postal Service for the past 23 years, before that for American Natl. Ins. for 2 years, Corp of Engineers and just being a mom for a few years. I met and married the most wonderful man, Greg Pendley from the Wichita Falls area 8 years ago (married for 6). God knew I needed someone really special in my life and he sent me Greg. Greg has two great children also, Nathan and Jennifer. We have a beautiful 2008 Harley Ultra Classic and love to ride, weather permitting. If it is too hot or cold, I don't get on it!! on your backside and front!! lol We have a farm close to Jasper we go to about once a month just to get away from the city. Houston's traffic gets pretty hectic as I drive 84 miles r.t. a day to work to the League City Post Office, come on retirement!! No grandchildren yet...just grand-dogs! I have custody of one..Precious. She is like my child. She can outsmart you real quick but she is getting old, 15 years old now. Hope to retire in two years, GOD willing, and just enjoy life, that is if the economy will allow us that prevlidge. My husband and I are definitely conservatives...don't like what is going on with the way the gov. is being run, can only hope and pray that things will change soon for the better, not the change that is going on in Washington now!!
