After graduation I did very little . I went to Columbus Tech for Auto Body and Painting . I fially got tired of being kicked around from job to job so I let a friend talk me into applying to CVCC College . Since my grades left a little to be desired I thought it was a safe effort . Once I was approved I did not know how to get out of it so I went . I got an Associates Degree in General Bussiness . I graduated with Honors and was a member of Gama Beta Fi Honors Society. Can you belive that from a good strong "C" student at Kendrick High? I met my wife Yvonne Cross while I was in College . I wanted a change so I accepted a job teaching High School in Riverdale , Ga. I taught Auto Body and Painting for two years before retiring . I had finished an old 1971 Corvette that I had restored and I married Yvonne. I had always talked about going to California and Yvonne had lived there for about a year . She told me I had to go or I would always regret it. We quit our jobs after being married only 3 months .
