The Life stuff== I was an just another student in school; took the classes our counselors told me and played B-team football--mainly on the bench. Then, in 1970 I was stung by the "hip" bug. Grew hair over my ears, (the parents hated that) listened to "hard rock" and sold issues of an underground newspaper ("the Outlaw") at Fox. The paper was published by Washington University grad students.) Brought into Simpson's office and asked if I had anti-government views. "No, sir, I just wanted to make 25 cents an issue profit." So, after high school went to J.C. for a year, transferred to SMSU (springfield) and got out with a BA degree Speech/Communications in 1976...Went to work for a large brokerage firm in St.Louis...got bored working on the 9th floor and wanted adventure. So, I joined the U.S. Air Force in the late '70s. I served 8 years, 3 months on active duty. I was a reporter/editor for base newpapers and managed to pull duty in some exotic places: Alaska, South Korea, (kimshee) Japan, South Florida.
