Carol's Story
Moved to DC area (Chevy Chase) after graduation, was a Nanny for a while. Then on to CA where I met and married my Air Force husband, Andy, and started my family. (we had 3 children in CA, Richard, David & Shari and lost Shari there). After my husband retired from AF on disability we moved to Great Falls, MT for 6 years where we had another child, Christopher.
As Andy's health became progressively worse, we moved back to Garrett Co. where he died in 1975. After we moved back to Garrett Co., I started as GCC then went to work for GC Board of Ed. and worked there until I moved to VA in 1978, where I graduated from Danville CC with degrees in Secretarial Science and Business Management. Have lived here since. Worked as a secretary and office manager here most of the time and also as a Travel Counselor.

USN a few years ago and now teaches Medicine all over the country, after teaching for a year in Hungary. I have 5 awesome (aren't they all) grand children, Jennifer, David, Jessica, Elliott and Joshua, aged 27-16, and a couple of really wonderful daughter-in-laws, Janet, Julie and Tracy.
I love to travel and have been to England and Scotland a couple of times to visit friends. I've been in 48 of our states at one time or another and to Mexico. I've lived in WV, MD, OH, DC, CA, MT, VA and NC. I fell in love with a place in Louisana a few years ago called Head of Island, on the bayous, and may one day move there. My son wants me to move to NC to be near him.
I still visit Garrett Co., as often as I can as my father is still there (mother passed away in 2008).
I'm looking forward to seeing all of my old friends again at our next reunion and am hopeful I will remember them. I hope everyone will attend this reunion.
