Derric's Story
Currently even I do not always know where I am at. I left the U.S.A. 3 years ago for a grand adventure. I have been back in the states only one time since then, and unfortunately nowhere near my home state of Colorado. I try too stay moving, always wanting too see something new. I travel too climb rocks, experience new cultures and cuisines, learn how too cook new cuisines, also I work hard on my photography. I have visited thirty five countries but I am unable too rest on my Laurels and slow down as my goal is for the Century of countries visited ie. I want too travel too at least 100 countries. love them and their people etc.. I travel because, besides the fact that I can, I do not want too be sitting on my rocking chair at eighty years old and be kicking myself because I had the chance too visit Vietnam or Sri Lanka while I was young enough too enjoy them but did not because I was too scared or unwilling too make the sacrifices. My life is not for everyone or even most people but for me it works. Sometimes my life is sad or lonely or frightening but mostly I have had a life that has been truly a wonder and a good life, amongst my hopes and dreams and prayers are that my life continues too evolve and provide me with an opportunity too chase my dreams in this fashion.
