Rhonda's Story

My first job was at McDonalds, where I got paid 3.25/hour to work the counter. What I remember most about it is that I liked it very much. I always wanted to be a singer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a unrealistic idea. As it turns out, they were right but I still love to sing. I also used to want to be a school teacher but that didn't work out because I made choices contrary to a college degree. I used to ride my motorcycle but I don't have one anymore so my daughter and I 'shop 'til we drop', even if it's just window shopping. The wildest thing I ever did in school was to get married! I'm not sorry... it was...Expand for more
just unconventional! I have a wonderful and adoring husband, 3 amazing children who have grown into beautiful, strong and impressive adults, and 4 terrific granddaughters that keep things very interesting! I have lived in several different states. To begin with my husband was in the Navy and that was why we moved. Later, schools, jobs and family were the motivation. We have lived in Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, Colorado, and Wyoming. I love ice hockey! I am a Thrasher season ticket holder so I go to almost every home game. I love dogs (particularly large lap dogs!) of which we have 2. I also love curling up on the couch with a book.
