Christine's Story

In 1975, I got a Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance at Illinois State University in Normal where I met my husband, Walter Bock. Walter died in 2004, but we had 33 wonderful years together. and I enjoy running, biking and weightlifting. Since 1995, I have run four marathons. When Walter died, I decided to go back to school to get a Doctorate and hope to finish in 2010. I am a professional violist and violinist and I taught at the university level for almost 40 years. I also teach in my home and play professionally. I am principal viola in two orchestras in my area and give recitals and solo with orchestras. I love to cook, garden, write poetry and research, travel and enjoy my friends. Maybe I will see you all at the next reunion!
