Debra's Story

I always wanted to be a BUSINEES WOMAN when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a POSSIBLE idea. As it turns out, they were RIGHT. I go out for a dip in the pool or I do some of the self healing techniques that work for ...ME...!!! The teacher that I would love to see again...has "passed away"...he had an awesome impact on my life...and I will never forget...he was my friend..and mentor...for the real world...Mr James T Creighton...God be with Him...!!! My current age is 57 1/2 yrs. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be retired and in the country . I was so completely wrong. My best friend would tell you I'm their special HERO, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as strange, gifted, out in another world, too young for my age . I love my blue jeans and t shirts...bare foot... my weirdest job was working in at the family plant ...learning to weld ...!!!! I share my home with my husband of thirty years, which I find very relaxing....!!!!. In 10 years, I hope to be still enjoying my work in the business that my hiusband and I birthed together. I'm going to get there by staying involved and pacing myself ...not to burn out...to soon...!!! . My oldest friend who is till alive and livng in San Leon, Texas, is Vicki Zoe ...she is my middle sister's age and they grew up together, but we somehow became close friendsa and have remained close for over 45 years...we both ...Expand for more
see life as a challenge...!!!to live and learn...!!! I do enjoy a social drink of wine ...for therapy ...but if the stress of the job gets the best of me...I never know what direction I may choose to go in...this is the fun of having "choices"...and not having to always be predictable...because , this girl is not predictable...!!! my son has taught me , that it is OK, to step away and let them experince what life's choices they have to deal with, but as a loving Mother, I can never stop , worrying and wanting to be there , just to let him know, I "love him", but he is his own man...every Mother adores their son... and now what my daughter has taught me...that it is time to really let go...let her be herself , but just give her some praise and let her know, she doesn't have to follow in Mom's foot steps...but be her own woman...make her own mark in this world...she is an awesome Mother to my three grandcholdren....they are all so loving and have such good manners...this I am very proud of her ...especially in this day and time... more later on a casual note, I still love my blue jeans and tank tops or t shirts...,business time, I have it lucky, casual unless I have to go see customers, then I dress for the situation, and when it comes to going to a social event...I love to dress with the current styles for me...but whenever it comes to my husband's birthday's...every five years...I SURPRISE EVERYONE...especially my husband...
