Karen's Story
Went to college at, what is now, University of Indianapolis. Started out to be school teacher and ended up Registered nurse. Lived for a few years in Indy until I met my husband and moved to Danville, Indiana. Have lived there for going on 34 years. We have 8 acres in the country and love it. Our home was built around 1908 and has all of the high ceilings and issues that go along with old homes. We have totally remodeled the house and couldn't do it again. ked the county hospital for 18 years then went to IU hospital in Indy to the present. Have one son who is now 29 years old, he is in the process of purchasing his 1st home just outside of Danville in a subdivision. He played college football for University of Indy and we are extremely proud of him. My husband owns his own Real Estate Business which is going through an extremely long, tough drought. It is truly a blessing that I am in nursing, my job is realitively secure. Reunion is coming up, it will be fun to see how all of us have changed.
