Angela's Story
I went to work at C&S Bank the week after we returned from the Senior cruise. I worked there in downtown Atlanta until February 1987. I had met my husband while visiting my Grandmother in Alabama. We were married in September 1986. Needless to say, a country boy from very rural Alabama could not make it in Atlanta!! So in February 1987 we moved to Alabama. We later moved to the Auburn, Alabama area. I worked at Regions Bank for 15 years. I have 3 teenagers, Adam 21, Andrew 20, Alaina 17. Love my teens!!! When my oldest was in High School, I kinda had a midlife crisis and was afraid my life was passing me by. So, I decided that if I was gonna do something, I better go ahead and do it! I always wanted to be a nurse, so I started school. I am now a Registered Nurse and I love my job!! I am a Home Care nurse. I go to patients homes, doing teaching, woundcare, assessment etc. I hate that I wasted so many years doing something else.

nfully shy I cut myself off from everything just about. My boyfriend at the time was much older than me as were most of my friends. For someone like me, who went to maybe 2 high school football games the whole time in high school, and one that thought she hated school, I was very active with my kids in school. My boys both played football, and my girl plays volleyball.. We never missed a football game. I was a regular fixture at the school. I live in a small town called Dadeville, Alabama where everybody knows everybody. Friday night football games are a major social event. Anyway... my baby girl is a senior, and she is very shy too. I have tried my best to tell them to enjoy this time in life.. I just wish I could go back to my high school years. Boy would I have gone things different!! I would have been in clubs, gone to games and probably told Mickey Manning what a crush I had on him!!!
I have so enjoyed this website, seeing names that bring back memories that were long forgotten....
