Elizabeth's Story
I was quiet and shy, didn't quite fit in with any particular group. Although I did have a few friends I hung out with. In my mid-20s I moved to Charlotte, NC all by myself. I lived there for about 2 years, went through some boyfriend drama, got lonely for my family & moved back. I got married when I was 33. I met my husband on a blind date. I have 2 boys--13 and 15, they can drive me crazy, but I love them to death. After I had kids, I lost my shyness and will talk to just about anybody. Wish I would have had more confidence and been more outgoing when I was younger. I recognized some names in the list from 1974. I actually moved to Edison, NJ for my last year of high school. ool when you're a senior is not fun. Again, I didn't really fit it, but made friends with a couple of girls. I looked at the pictures on this site and it was great to see what people look like after all these years. I actually remember and recognized a few people--and they all look really good. Some people's names I would have liked to have seen weren't there. It's nice to see people from yesteryear. What am I--100 years old! It feels like I was just in high school a few years ago. I can't believe that so much time has passed. I'm forever 39...at least in my mind. I want to go disco dancing again!! That used to be my favorite pastime when I turned 17. Now, that was fun. I did that for as long as disco lasted. Fun times...
