Barbara's Story

Hi Everyone, I lived in Falmouth, Maine for 37 years and taught there for 34, retiring three years ago. Been married to the same wonderful man for 45 years and have a son who is 40 living in Port St. Lucie, FL with his wife (from Columbia, South America)and 4 year-old son. We bought a house 8 minutes walk from them so we have the luxury of spending time with them when we head south for the winter months. Our daughter is 38 and lives in Beverly, MA with her husband and 3 year-old son and 5 month-old daughter. Lucky us to be so close to our grandchildren at different times of the year. be in good health and spend most of my time reading, exercising or playing tennis. Now that I am retired I also have more time to cook again and am trying lots of recipes I cut out of magazines years ago but never got time to try. Retirement is the only way to go. Hope all of my Bar Harbor High classmates are enjoying life and in good health. I feel so grateful to be a part of a town and a school where everyone knew everyone and felt a special bond as we were growing up. Those times were the best! I would love to hear from some of you. I suspect most of us are computer busy these days. Fondly, Barbara
