Jackie's Story
Well it has been a long time since High School and many things have happened in everyones life. When you are in school your everyday life is about what you are going to wear to school and what you might be doing with your friends on the weekend.
Real life sets in after the first 1 to 5 years of graduation, working, marriage, kids and careers. Who would have guessed that before I reached the age of 40 the big CANCER word would come into my life. When you are in school you feel like you could concour the world. for so many years you worried about things like cleaning your house or working two jobs so that you could get your kids the best jeans, when all you should have been worrying about was spending time with your family while they were growing up.
The world has changed since we were kids, life is more complicated or is it that we just make it more complicated. I am sure many people in the past have said if I could only go back and live my life knowing what I do now. The only thing that I can say is live each day like it was your last and make the best of each day.
Cancer free for 7 years now and living life to its fullest.
