Art's Story
I actually went by Lee Olson while attending Provo High.
I decided it was easier to go by my first name after 17 years in the Military, so in 1989 I started going by Arthur Olson.
I went on a mission to the New Zealand North mission and served most of my time in the Cook Islands District. (600 miles due west of Tahiti.
I married Margene Riggs (class of 1967 Provo High) in 1970 after I completed Basic Training. We had five kids, three boys and two girls. have nine grand kids with three more on the way. We now live in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

gence school and then went to vietnam. I completed my last 10 months of active duty at Fort meade, MD at the National Security Agency (NSA).
Following Vietnam I worked in the Food Storage and Health food industries, steel building manufacturing for Kirby Building Systems in Spanish Fork, the pharmacuetical industry then in 1985 returned to active duty military service with the Utah National Guard.
I finished an associate degree in Electrical Automation from Utah Tech in 1983. I completed my BA in 2003.
I completed 38 years in The US Army in May 2008 after 27 years active duty plus 10 years in the Utah National Guard.
