Peggy's Story
I've lived in NC for over 21 years now, still married to my high school sweetheart Derryl Dey. After 24 years of marriage we still work and play well together and even still like each other. How odd. We have a 9 year old son, Christopher, and of course a menagerie of animals, even the odd raccoon in the kitchen. We are the Beverly Hillbillies without the cash. Fortunately we live on over 12 acres of wooded property in the country so our neighbors can give us the space they seem to think we need for some reason. ng an HR Manager. I dropped to working part-time in science and part-time running my home art business. Our abundant spare time (not cleaning or scraping up animal related adventures) is spent working on our nonprofit organization called The Vision Foundation. All three of us have our black belts and have started a foundation which brings martial arts programs to public schools and works primarily with at-risk and low-income kids to build self-esteem and confidence. It's a lot of work but well worth the opportunity to make a difference. I am not the Facebook type but I may get around to it soon to get i contact. Hope you all are well and that we focus only on the positive of the past to build a better future.
