Kelly's Story
I left Burney in '88 and moved to Vancouver, WA.. Where I lived for a year and a half before I married a country boy named Russell and moved to his home town of Goldendale, WA. I had a ready made family. He had two kids, a six year old boy, Nathan and a four year old girl, Twylight. Both great kids. Two years later (1991) I had a baby girl, Kelsee Dawn,(the light of my life). Life was good. The kids grew up. I went to school to do nails and started up a Salon with my aunt. A couple years into that I recieved a big surprise.(2001) His name is Cooper.
Nov. 3, 2001 Coop had his first of five surgeries and I'm happy to say they were a great success. Except for the scars you wouldn't know he had any issues. In late 2002 my husband thought we needed a change of scenery and came up with the idea to move us onto a 47 foot yacht. So, we sold most of our worldly possesions and picked up our two young clildre...Expand for more
n and began a new, crazy adventure. For three years we enjoyed living on the water, watching my baby boy and his daddy fishing out our back door every evening. We decided to move our family into a house and we moved back home to Goldendale, WA., so Russ could be closer to his family. Life is great. I work in a spa as a nail tech and very much enjoy my job. I've been married to the same man, happily, for over 25 years. Our children are well and growing up too fast. My daughter is married and is a very talented hair stylist. She has now made me a very proud grandma to a beautiful baby girl. We will probably face more surgeries in the future for Coop but for now he is well. He loves to ride dirk bikes, and play Fantasy Football with his mom. 😁
