My Married Name is Barbara Chance
I married my high school sweetheart from my high school back in MD where I am originally from. We were married June 4 1961. we had to get our blood tests while I was still a senior in school so that we could get married oh June 4th. we graduated on June 1 and then on June 4th we got married, and we moved back to MD. We moved back to Galena MD and stayed with my husband's parents a couple of weeks before finding a house to live in. My husband is a farmer by trade and we still live in this little farming community. in 1979 we acquired school buses for our county and became school bus drivers, where we both were school bus drivers fo...Expand for more
r 18 years. I thouroughly enjoyed it. my most favorite part was taking the nursing students on field trips.
Besides, driving a bus, my husband continued his career in farming, incl. dairy faramer, grain farmer and since '93 he has been a poultry grower for Perdue, and now for another company known as Mountaire Corp. we have 4 grown children, 1 son who now lives in Japan, 3 daughters one of which who livew in Fla. and our other two girls live and work in our home county. We have 4 grandchildren and also now have 2 great grandchildren. I retired after 18 years of driving due to health reasons, and have become a net marketer working with a well known Wellness Co. since '02.
