First please allow me to thank you for stopping by my classmates¿ page. It¿s always a pleasure to revisit those timeless years we spent at Northeast High, isn¿t it? I have to admit I too am curious to see the faces from yesterday. A time when things were simple compared to now. Wouldn¿t you concur? Here is a simple recap of those years that followed that pertained to Kath Hughes class of 77. A year after graduating I married my high school sweetheart, Skip Armstrong. I was known as Kath Armstrong. Although we are no longer married we remain friends to this day and I even take our car to him for those annoying repairs. (I still dislike letting go of those green backs) We stayed married for 5 years. We didn¿t have any children, thank goodness. However I do have a daughter from my second marriage. Megan Marie. Now 22 yrs old.Then, I was known as Kath Serafine. After 2 attempts made on my life, I left her father for a real man. A Kind, caring and understanding man is my husband and his name is Patrick. Patrick has always brought out the best in me as I feel we complement each other extremely well. Area's I seem to appear weak he is strong and the other way around as well. Patrick has two boy's from his first marriage Nick & Cory. Our friends have been known to refer to us as Mr. and Mrs. Wonderful. (How cute is that? VERY!) We have been married for 10 years however together for 17 and live happily in Pinellas County. In our 3/2.5 Townhome. In fact we were married in our back yard. It¿s nestled along a portion of Alan¿s creek and most mornings while enjoying a cup of coffee I watch the otters play. The creek is full of turtles. Yep, that¿s correct. Turtle¿s. However, even though that was my nick name from high school, I must tell you a recent friend has demoted me to Snail. lol I worked for the vast Marjory of my life up to the time I fell ill while employed at Tech Data as the Payroll supervisor for nearly 5 years. However my Dr. announced that I had CFS accompanied by depression. Nearly after a year of bed rest the real Dx of MS was discovered.Quack, quack....so always get a second opinon. Now wait a minute, I know you gasped. No need. Please listen to me. It¿s not CA and I¿m not dying so get a grip. Lol It¿s very slow moving even if it is progressive and not inter-mitten. One day I won¿t be able to see so they tell me. But I have a great memory so that shouldn¿t be all that bad. I may not be able to hear but most don¿t have much to say anyway. I am in pain but am able to cope most often without as much as a whimper. At the moment I¿m having trouble walking but a little extra will power might turn that around and if not they make really cool scooters. I'd race any of you any day! I may bump into a thing or too but whats new, right? I know I¿m blessed and I¿ll always be grateful to those that have touched my life and had a part in molding the person I am t...Expand for more
