Mike's Story
After HBHS, I spent 2 years at Harvard On the Hill (Gadsden State). With an Associates in Computer Science, I got married, transferred to UAB, and began working as a computer operator at Birmingham Trust National Bank (BTNB).
After a few years at BTNB & a divorce, I began working for a company out of New York, CCI, installing computer software then managing projects. For the next 20 or so years, I did a lot of travelling and, oh yeah, I got married, again.
(Oh, by the way, I failed to mention that in 1973, my BEAUTIFUL daughter, Amanda, was born to my first wife, Janet, and me.)...Expand for more
Well in 1998, my second marriage (to Connie)failed, but it had created my wonderful son, Josh.
In 2000, while working as Operations Manager of Installation Projects for a Canadian company, NORTEL, I semi-retired.
At this point, I settled down to a routine life in Birmingham. I took a job selling furniture, but a bad back & hips, from years of carrying luggage & computer equipment on my back, and riding (and falling off of) motor-cycles caused me to quit working in early-2007.
My third wife, Terri, and I now live in Pinson, AL. I also have three beautiful Grand-daughters !!!!
