Carolyn's Story
Hello Class of 1977 -
After graduation, I left Alachua for the Orlando area. I have lived in Kissimmee for the past 25 years. I came here to work at Walt Disney World during the summer after graduation, and 30 some years later, I am still there. So much for a summer job! I supervise a small warehouse and am the application administrator of a database that we use to perform maintenance and inventory functions in Disney's utility company. It's a good job, and I really enjoy it, although it is nothing like I ever thought I would be doing.

l music teacher. I spent one year at the University of Florida and then three years at the University of Central Florda, majoring in Music Education. I loved my music classes, but when I finally got into my education classes, I realized that I had no desire to teach. I took some time to do some soul searching, and ended up in the business world. I am still involved in music, through my church, but I have never done anything professionally.
I have been married since 1982. I have two children, a 19 year old daughter who is a Journalism major at USF, and a 15 year old son who is a freshman in high school. I also have an 11 year old white German Shepherd.
