Linda's Story

I am living in Mobile, Alabama at the present time. I will be moving to Chattanooga next May after Barb, my daughter, graduates from the University. My son Michael is a world class bagpiper and also has a degree in business with a specialty in marketing. I am retired from full time work as a psychotherapist but still keep my fingers in the pot by keeping a few clients. I also volunteer my time with Widowed Persons Services of Mobile. I run one of the grief groups; working with folks who have lost a spouse. We lost our darling Laura two years ago this month on the thirteenth. She was a precious little girl and we loved her so much. I always felt that she was our teacher this time around. It broke our hearts to lose ...Expand for more
her and yet I know that her work here on earth had been accomplished big time. I travel whenever I can. This year I have been to Savanna Georgia, Charleston , North Carolina, Denver, Cozumel, Mexico, Atlanta, and probably other places that my brain cells have forgotten. :) I can't believe that all of us are pushing sixty! Where have the years gone anyway? I still go to Mississippi and see Dorothy Kerr. She is still as bright as ever. Barb and I usually go and see her together and we have such fun being with Dorothy and her sister Julia. Barb, my daughter pulled an A in statistics, so thank God she did not get my math phobia! Hope to hear from some of you and see how life is going in your neck of the woods. Lin
