Lynda Moore's Story

I have one son - Chad - you probably remember his Dad, George Campbell - George and I divorced years ago but always remained close. Sadly, George passed away VERY suddenly on Feb. 15/09. Chad has given us the two most beautiful little granddaughters - 10 yr. old and 8 yr. old - totally lovable like all of us say about our own. I worked for years as a legal secretary - then made the mistake of moving to the "other side of the law" - the OPP (hope Peter Mitchell doesn't read that one - kidding Peter, just kidding !!!). I have gone a couple of rounds with cancer - in 1992 and again in 2000 - have been cancer free for 8 years now. Retired awhile back - very involved with Order of the Eastern Star - just love the organization and what it stands for - run into Nancy Lou Middleton there occasionally. Also very involved wit...Expand for more
h the Christmas Festival of Trees here in Peterborough. And I seem to have turned into a Fashion Show Co-Ordinator - I do two, sometimes 3 shows in a year. And I love to socialize - going to lunch or even just coffee with family or the girls and having dinner parties takes up a lot of my time. Next to my family, my greatest love is my dogs - I am owned by the sweetest Boston Terrier alive, as well as a French Bulldog which hubby and I rescued in Belleville a couple of years ago. I run into George Phillips about once a year in Peterborough and I have always kept in touch with Nancy Barriage - we talk on the phone 3 or 4 times a year - and always unsuccessfully make plans to get together !!! And I suppose that is about as many boring little details that I can think of right now. Would love to hear from any of you. Lynda

Shirley, message for Garnet, would you be insulted if I put your painting over my bathroom mirror. Love it there because it goes with your blue jays as well as the abstract painting from another friend of mine. And it’s the

Oh dear me Larry , one year ago today, October 6, at 1:35 PM. You had to leave us then. Your favourite Christmas tree, your favourite jacket, your favourite dogs. I miss you incredibly.

Perfect. Maybe this will explain to those who don’t understand the statement “Black Lives Matter“.
Finally finally finally. I made it there today. Mani and Pedi. Spa Euphoria. Love that place. Had a foot wrap/ wax - so relaxing and so helpful in healing as well. If you have never had your feet waxed, just treat yoursel

Lol.
7 months ago today Larry had to leave us. I just miss him terribly and I talk to him all the time, but I am incredibly thankful he didn’t have to live through this COVID-19 in the condition he was in there at the end. Tha
Last pic I have taken with cell phone. A couple of days ago. Doesn’t look too bad for being as sick as he is.
Merry Christmas everyone. May your Christmas be filled with joy, happiness, love and safe travels.
