Nancy Martin:  

I graduated from Durand High School Class of 1967. I was married in late 1967 and divorced in 1974. Have 2 children, Mary born in 1969, and Matthew born in 1971, grown now with families of their own. After I divorced my husband, I went on to build a career with K-Mart Corporation. Held several executive positions there until i retired in 1996. After retiring I stayed home with my new husband, Paul, who I married in 1995. I have always been a very energetic person and decided that I wanted more to my life than that..so I went back to work in 2003 at Younkers in Okemos, Mi. Declining a management position there,.I am in sales. From 1974 until 1995 I was single, working, and very busy raising two children by myself. I had very little social life during that time because my priorities were in raising my children the right way, ,and working at positions that took me away from home on several occasions. I loved the traveling, but not being away from my children. I stepped down to a lower position with K-Mart Corporation to be able to spend more time with my family.
