Sadly, he has since passed away. "Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends and loved ones will leave footprints in your heart." John Wayne. "When the road looks rough ahead, remember the 'Man Upstairs" and the word H-O-P-E. Hang on to both and "tough it out". John Wayne. "Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though. He will not see me stopping here, to watch his woods fill up with snow." Robert Frost. Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening. "Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get---only what you are expecting to give---which is everything. What you will receive in return varies. But it real...Expand for more

I now live in SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA, and have for many years. but I was born and raised in Connecticut. My home town is the lovely town of Portland, along the Connecticut River, where I attended Central Elementary School and Portland Junior High and High School. We enjoyed the Connecticut River on our boat, the Win-Jan, when dad was in the Portland Boat Club years ago. He was also in the Lions Club, & the Odd Fellows, for many years. I also loved Long Island Sound! We rented a cottage on the sound in Clinton, Ct., at Clinton Beach, called the Bittersweet, from a Mr. Somerset. It was on the water, just opposite the beach store, that I think was called Hubbard's. We spent many wonderful summers at Clinton Beach! Other vacations were spent touring northern New England & many of the wonderful lakes of Maine and New Hampshire, & touring eastern Canada. We once drove around the entire Gaspe Peninsula, which was quite isolated at that time. I loved visiting Quebec City, the St. Lawrence River, and Lake Megantic. I'm now in Arizona and have been for a long time. I really miss the water!!! I do like Arizona. It has its own beauty, and I love Utah, & Southern California. Over the years I have lived in other states: 4 years in New York City, a short time in Texas, and a little while in Vermont. I have two grown daughters: Vanessa, & Kate, and three grandsons: Jason, Dillon, & Damien, and a son-in-law: Chris. I decorate the house cottage-style; collect prince frogs; work on my favorite collection: REG PRINCE, the English secondary actor, stand-in, stuntman and double. He was double for actor Oliver Reed for about 22 years, until 1986. He was also great at his sport, Karate, and was a sensei, and was a bodyguard. He also worked with many others. Reg passed away in the year 2000 at the age of 64 years. He had been terribly injured in a fall while away on location in 1986 for the movie 'Castaway', and he suffered various serious health problems until his death; I collect pumpkins; swim in the pool; do a lot of reading; like birds; have a great cat Soprano, and enjoy movies and TV, etc., etc.".
