Bruce's Story
Much has happened since we all graduated in 1968... I went from a red '68 VW to a Mercedes... Went from skinny dude to, well let's say not so skinny... and from dark brown hair to a little less dark hair. Retired from the Navy after 29 years and retired from Northrop Grumman/PRB Systems in Maryland in 2006.
I do miss Grass Valley and the Sierra Nevada's. I also miss my NUHS class mates... We all have our memories; some good, some not so good. But after all these years wouldn't it be nice to reconnect?
Cheryl and I were married in 1970 and almost made it to our 50th anniversary. I brought her home in 2006 so she could be right across the street from her parents here in Brookhaven, Georgia, and where she lived until moving away in 1967. We have 1 daughter Sabine Ann who u...Expand for more
nfortunately never had children, but we are very close to all of Cheryl's family who have tons of kids LOL. Cheryl passed away just before Thanksgiving in 2019... and I miss her terribly.
It has been great reconnecting with many of our classmates... Cheryl and I really enjoyed being with many of you at our 50th Class Reunion in 2018.
It is March 21, 2023... and it saddens me to see so many of our classmates passing on. Some did well for themselves and I could not be more proud to have known them, some became friends, some just acquaintances, but all classmates which shared a common goal... to get through High School eh? Some may have FB pages... and for those who do, share with us your pages so we can follow your activities.
