Cecelia's Story
Then: In High School, I think I was primarily known because I was the only daughter of Carol Smith - MDS Secretary and Choir director and the sister of Jack Smith - 1980 grad of MDS and High School football jock. Was pretty shy in high school. Couldn't wait to move out of Macon. Moved to Atlanta in 1982. Married in 1985, divorced in 1990.
Now: I currently live in Fort Worth, TX where I've lived since 1998. Moved to Ft. Worth to pursue a Masters of Arts in Church & Community Ministry. I'm happily married (2nd marriage) to a Puerto Rican man born in Chicago, IL. We are blessed with two small kids (age 7 and 6)whom I homeschool. For those of you interested in the Smith family: My mom - Carol- is still alive, but is slowly dying from COPD. She just turned 80. Mom & Dad and all but one brother live in the Atlanta area. Brother Arthur still lives in Macon with his wife Karen and 3 boys - 2 (Franklin & Adam Smith) of whom graduated MDS and 1 (Bradley Smith) who currently attends. Jack is in Atlanta, has never been married but is recently engaged - no date has been set. My youngest brother, Cam, had a brief stint at MDS - until Fidelis (sp?)) kicked him out for some stupid reason. He's living in Loganville raising his two kids (he divorced many years ago).
