Joann's Story
Never say never! My parents owned the Pendle Pub when I was in high school and I said I would never work there and I didn't. I also said I would never be in the food business and guess what...I AM!!!! I didn't set out to be in it, I kind of was led into it by my husband. HOWEVER, I LOVE WHAT WE DO AND IT IS SO DIFFERENT FROM A RESTAURANT! We are a coffee shop on wheels, and since I love to travel, we move from one location to another depending on who hires us that day. It's fun! ct. Yes, I believed in the fairy tale but my prince didn't quite live up to the expectations. I have 3 grandchildren and one on the way. My life is busy and on the go, but when I can relax I love to sip wine, listen to jazz and sit by my pool. I am a great cook, love to entertain, and love people. I was much quieter in high school than I should have been. And I did not date enough boys, silly girls get stuck on one guy, what a mistake! Oh well, life has been fun, interesting, some disappoints along the way, but I never give up!
