Vanessa's Story
I hope that my classmates will remember that I was kind and shy but friendly to all of them.
I spend my spare time listening to wisdom teachings from the bible. I love to relax by a fireplace at home while reading a book - I have a large christian library that I've collected over the years. I also love to watch a good movie. Avatar is my favorite because of it's perfection. My favorite bible movie is The Gospel of John (a word for word from the Book of JOHN movie about Jesus' walk on the earth - truly remarkable! Of course, I get my share of kids films!!
JESUS is my hero and model. I love to read the bible and study it entirely. It is still a best seller every year! I love to minister to the people of God and have more than 50 websites that I created and maintain. My purpose is to inspire others to follow God in spite of themselves. I find it a hobby to do what I do for the Kingdom of God. I've come a long way - but - God has been with me all the time. He is Faithful and NOTHING/NO ONE can alter His love or compare to it.
My family has bred preachers, teachers of the gospel, missionary, & pastors. My son, Lamont is called in the ministry. I am raising my young son to be a man of God in whatever way God chooses to use him - He will be well taught in the things and ways of God. Humility, faithfulness, godly integrity, godly character, holiness, righteousness are just some of the things that I teach him to regard and respect in his life's journey. The fear (a respectful holy reverence) of God is very important. I pray that he will be strong and walk in His pre-designed purpose. I believe a strong Faith in God is what truly fulfills one's life.
I love attending events: basketball playoffs, football, boxing, theater, etc. I live in San Diego and I travel alot. My favorite places to travel are New York, Las Vegas, Arizona, the Bahamas, and now Europe! I am planing a trip to Asia and I most want to visit AFRICA!

I work from my home but I am starting a women's ministry and see myself traveling globally (August 2013 update: recently visited Germany for 2 weeks, planning a trip to China! ) and ministering the Word of God. God's precious women have been through so much and I know that the Lord wants to esteem them in this hour - our world is filled with chaos and distressed times. I want to see women empowered to prosper (owning their own business). I know that the Lord will use me as a marketplace influence in this area. I would count it a privilege and honor to serve God in this capacity.
My heart goes out to the remnant of Christ for which God wil restore His Glory! Those who have accepted Christ Jesus as their Lord is where I am specifically called to minister (help with restoring the Bride of Christ). There are many gifts/talents that God gives to His creation - I have found my specialty and wish to use them to full capacity as I look to help the masses and bring them back into the fold of God's loving arms. I love to pray for everyone and I am known to take the time to counsel, inspire and encourage the forsaken, downtrodden, forgotten, abused, abandoned, unloved, hurt and broken vessels. I speak to people from all over the world. Thanks to the internet in the modern world I am friends with people in 72 different nations! I love what I do - it is God's gift to me so that I can serve Him more efficiently. The time is late. The hour is dark. The world is imploding upon herself. Sin is rampant. Morals are declining. Purity is rare. Just like the bible spoke of thousands of years ago! JESUS IS RETURNING FOR HIS BRIDE. WE MUST BE READY FOR OUR HOLY KING.
I pray for God's direction and guidance as much as I can to help someone in need and do my best to see them through their dark days and I love to see answered prayers and celebrate the good times!!!!!
I haven't been to a re-union probably because I've moved several times and lost touch - I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO THE NEXT ONE!!! So glad to re-acquaint with you!!!
