Kathy's Story
I've been living in Vermont since 1988, can't imagine living anywhere else-I love it here, in spite of the long winters! We live on 15 acres in the heart of Vt's Northeast Kingdom, on a sort of "mini-farm" with lots of animals. I work at the local animal hospital where I've been since 1989, as a Veterinary Technician/Office Manager. Love my work, obviously or I wouldn't still be at it! I also have a house-sitting/pet sitting business on the side. Plus run a non-profit, Turn the Page Books, which sends books to...Expand for more
inmates free of charge. I spend a lot of my free time searching for books in used book stores, going to library book sales, yard sales or wherever books may be found.(also spend a lot of time reading). And I write a column on veterinary medicine/pet care for the local monthly newspaper. My two kids are both in college now which seems very hard to believe-where did the years go?! My husband & I are enjoying the "empty nest" (not so empty with all our critters!) Life is good here in Vermont! Find me on Facebook.
