Dora's Story
I changed schools when I was a Senior at McDowell High School with 5 weeks left until graduation. I hated doing it, I wanted to graduate with people I spent time with. I actually went through graduation at Knott Central High School, but I still consider myself a McDowell Daredevil.
I have a 23 year old son now. When someone asks me what is the best thing you have ever done, I always say my son. My husband and I have been together since 1984, 27 years now, doesn't seem like that long but I guess time goes by a lot faster than I ever expected.

ve had some very different jobs, Tech Support(hated the phone attached to my ear all day), Caregiver for elderly ( To hard when you get attached to someone and they pass away), Video Store Manager (BORING),
I do some stuff for the Knott County Saddle Club (my horses are great). It is hard to write so much on here and expect anyone to know the person I am today. I think, hope, expect I am totally different than what I was in High School. If anyone has any questions or just wants to talk and reconnect then send me a message, I will be happy to reply.
