Candice's Story
I moved from Hayward, CA as soon as I could. I went to Truckee, CA first. There I met my husband whom I married when I was 23. We then moved to Smith, NV and managed a ranch for ten years. I had two wonderful sons both born in Carson City, NV. We then moved to Washougal, WA for a couple of years. The next move was Cashmere, WA for about seven years. Then, on to Prineville, OR for ten years. 2005 found us in Tucson, AZ which is where I still reside.
My sons are both grown, one lives in Corvallis, OR the other Douglas, AZ. No grandbabies yet from them. I do have two stepchildren who are great, both in WA. One with one son, the other with one of ea...Expand for more

I donated my right kidney to my brother-in-law a couple of years ago.
I also went to college at 51 and finished with a 3.80 (never did that at Hayward High)!
Both of my brothers have died so I am the last child of my parents.
I am still married to my best friend, it has been 32 years.
I am still horse crazy and I was riding endurance, then my horse fractured his coffin and had to be "put to sleep". I later replaced him with another wonderful horse, who fractured her left hock. She is fine for trail riding, but no endurance. I now have a Shagya-Arabian who I am hoping will become my last endurance horse. Pray that nothing happens to this one!
