Kim's Story

I have two daughters ages 20 and 26. I have two grandchildren, Ally and Jay. I have worked for PCS for fifteen years as an assistant in special education. I have worked at Luray High for 8 years. Been married twice-1st didn't last long but I had my oldest daughter. This time 25 years and still counting . My youngest daughter lives here in Stanley and my oldest lives in Rockingham. Pretty simple life, work and stay home with my husband and take care of our ferret, whom is our baby now. 08-20-2010 My sister Jennifer, passed away on July 30, 2010. Up until this point, my life has been pretty straight. Great family, kids, now grandkids, wonderful mom, ...Expand for more
and my best friend MY SISTER. I know God must have needed her more, but my life will never be the same. Jennifer was a great person, friend, and Mom. She brightened every day with her laugh, and that beautiful smile. She will be missed by many, but never forgotten, The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mary Showalter, because we had alot of laughs that last year of school, she was a good friend and she made me laugh. Nascar and Football are the sports. I have a ferret. her name is Cheyenne. Since my grandchildren live in Rockingham County, I spoil the ferret and my youngest daughter has a dachund-Bucky- I spoil him too.
