Barbara's Story
I came to Compton High my junior from Centennial, went to Willowbrook Jr. High (8th & 9th grade) prior to that Carver Jr. High. You may recognize me from working in the Snack Bar (Donut & cookie line). I use to love those chocolate glazed donuts. Remember them??
I had three brothers (Herbert, Philbert & Stanley) two of which have passed and I have two sisters (Jacqueline and Stephanie). All of which graduated from Com...Expand for more

We lived on the corner of Caldwell & Grandee across the street from Stanley Perkins (I wonder what happened to him?) and down the street from my cousins (Brenda, Beverly & Lynette Johnson) who also graduated from Compton.
My Dad use to do the Diamond Tuck and the metal flaked Tuck and Roll for the 'Low Riders'. Where did the time go? WE HAD IT MADE.
