Cindy's Story
After working for the State of Michigan for 30 years, I retired in October 2009. I have two children, who grew up to be pretty awesome adults. My daughter is an Edward Jones financial advisor and my son is working on his second Masters degree. I have a grandson who is almost 2 1/2. He spoils me and I love it!

logy. I've had the opportunity to teach several courses in aging at Central Michigan University.
I married someone I went to school with in Harrison. Barry and I had been married 35 years when he was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in 2009. He died in January, 2010.
I have enjoyed traveling with Darlene Haveman and Fran Steckler over the years.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do in retirement, but I'm looking forward to reconnecting with old friends.
