Anita's Story
In the photo you will also see Sonny Seiler and Uga VI. They were both my "bosses" since I did private legal secretarial work for both. Sonny Seiler is an excellent trial lawyer in Savannah, GA and the owner of Uga VI. Uga VI was the white English bulldog mascot of the University of Georgia until he passed away in July of 2008. Uga VII is now the current mascot. Sonny was the attorney in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" by John Berendt and won the acquittal of Jim Williams after four criminal trials. reat book if you haven't read it. I read the book when I lived in NJ and decided to visit beautiful Savannah as a result of reading Berendt's description of Savannah. When I visited I realized I could live here and moved down in 1995. I am now retired and enjoying living at The Landings on Skidaway Island, Savannah, Geogia with my husband Bill Butler. We enjoy living in Manchester Village, Vermont between the end of May and the beginning of October each summer. Between us we have 11 grandchildren (8 are mine and 3 are Bill's) and 1 great-grandchild. When in Vermont I enjoy making stained glass windows.
