Mary's Story
After I graduated from Lindbergh, I went on to study Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating in May 1973. I worked for two years as a reporter, photographer and newspaper editor on a small Northwest Missouri publication.
I met and married my husband, Edward Linneman, in 1975 and had two children: Patricia and Brian. Sadly, my husband developed cancer and, after battling the disease for four years, he died in August 2005.

I went back to school--for a second time!--and obtained my teaching credentials in May 2004.
I taught Special Education for two years and, after a hiatus, I'm once again in the education field, working as a teachers' aide for Pre-Kindergarten children in the morning and 2nd-graders in the afternoon.
I'm enjoying my job, loving my family and grandchildren, and looking forward to re-connecting to my friends from Lindbergh!
