Robert's Story
In 1939 I became the organist at Frankford High for 3 years. I joined the Navy and served in the Liberation of The Philippines. After the war I was one of the founders of Allen Organ Company and served as Vice President of Sales. Retiring after 43 years, I then continued to serve as a consultant and
as a traveling installation expert for 8 additional years. Allen, located near Allentown PA, builds more church organs than any other company in the world. We used private aircraft for sales work starting with a Beech Bonanza, ending with ...Expand for more
a Beech King Air, and, at age 86, I am still an active pilot and have owned the same Beechcraft Baron for 25 years.. Our daughter, Joanne Pearce Martin, is a prominent concert pianist who holds the position of Principle Chair, Keyboards, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Son Robert is a dentist in Marin County CA. Both own and fly their own planes
So you see, I would be delighted to make contact with new friends who are perhaps interested in music or flying, or both. By the way, wife Angeline, and I have been married for 63 years.
