Kellie's Story
Hi I moved to California in 1976. I've been married, divorced, and am currently in a 8 year relationship with my guy, Greg. I have one daughter, Carolyn. I've done a lot of traveling. I got cancer at 48 and was told I would probably die. After chemo I decided to go on a bike ride for my 50th birthday and my guy and I road a tandem recumbent bike from California to Phoenix and from Akron to Atlanta. My bother's live in Phoenix and Atlanta. After that I went on a cruise to Austrailia and then my guy and I rented an old beat up van and traveled for 2 months in New Zealand. d to Thailand. After we returned to California and lived on a blue berry ranch in Buelton CA near Santa Barbara and I was breakfast lady at the Quality Inn. Then I got cancer again and moved back to Santa Cruz, CA where we have a home. Now I'm an administrative assistant because I spent all my money because I thought I was going to die. I work for a really nice family and enjoy my job. This past year I went to London to see my daughter and she treated me to a day trip to Paris. In November I'm going on a cruise to Rome for a month. Then it will be back to work! I'm poor but heathy.
