Stanley's Story
What have I been up to, lets see:I'm a Nurse for one thing, was a Hospital Administrator, Partner in the Travel business, was very ill, lost a leg, had 42 operations, retired years ago; and have a 34 year old Son, who's to be married in November 2010! "WHO COULD ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE/" Also, am still alive and Happy to be here!!
When I was at North High, I was short, fat, wore husky levi's, that's larger than normal; Had a hell of a home life. Have a wonderfully Beautiful Sister, and very depressed that she was so good looking,, while I was short, fat and I guess ugly!
Well, after the Navy, College, work, and marriage, then a divorce, the Meeskite, that's, "an ugly," turned into a fairly nice looking man. Afterall, "Beauty is only skin deep, "and underneath we are all Beautiful! Just ask my Ex-Wife!! Big Smile!!!
After what I just wrote, I think I'll leave myself lots of money on the kitchen table! When I return home, perhaps I may think someone really cares - well, I do!
I read constantly, Biography's, auto-Biography's, HISTORY most of all, I wanted to teach History, but as a young person, I stuttered, haven't stuttered in over 40 years!! I guess I learned to get along with my Father!!!.
I guess I'm known for speaking my mind. I call things like they are! I'm pleas...Expand for more
ed about this! Any one and everyone, knows right where I stand, and I don't mix words
about things. I'm loving my sixties, and loving life to the fullest!
At this time I'm in the process of writing a book about, "The Medical Problems of South Viet Nam," hope to have it done by the summer. I all ready have a publisher willing to publish it!!!HAY!
Perhaps another career looms? Whatever, I enjoy all life has to offer. I found out today that I had a foul mouth as a kid, and this came from a friend when we were talking over things 50 years ago! I was astonished, but knew that he wouldn't lie to me. Thanks J.H. I will try to be a better old man!!!
I always wanted to be a thin person when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a laughing idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
I E Mail the President, and tell him how wrong he is! And he is!!
Tsar Peter The Great! He called a Spade a Spade! No matter what anyone thought he lived by his own rules, as Tsar, he could, as a person I to can very much relate to...
I've been buying gold and silver for the past twenty years, and find it a very interesting hobby. I've met people who must sell, and really find it very sad for them. I have a friend who buys Gold and silver for a living, and some of the stories he's told me are very eye opening!
