Julie's Story
I lived on Haig Drive in Ottawa. Went to Vincent Massey then Hillcrest High for Grade 9. I moved to Victoria British Columbia in Summer of Grade 9.
So I really am not in the Class of 78 at Hillcrest as I moved, but I would have been with that crowd.
In BC - I lived in Victoria, moved to Prince George, and Vancouver. I met and married an Aussie bloke, we had our own business in Victoria, I also worked running the IT Help Desk for the Motor Vehicle branch. h Mexico, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, Niue, Tonga, .Fiji, Vanuatu and landed in Townsville.
Our adventures included diving wih Pearl farmers, swimming with Dugongs, dancing under an active volcano at a circumcision ceremony in Vanuatu and many more.
We lived in Townsville for 8 years, then moved to Tasmania where we lived for 12 years then retired to Kangaroo Island in South Australia. We have 100 acres a mixture of mallee forrest and open area, and look over the neighbours cattle paddocks across the ocean to American River, and out to the open ocean.
