Janet's Story
My name is Janet Erwin now. I have been
married for 33 years and my husband is a
veterinarian.I have lived in the Ocala
area for 30 years and own and manage a
thoroughbred horse farm. I graduated
from college with a degree in Social
Work but have worked buying and selling
race horses for my whole career. I have
5 children. 3 biological and 2 adopted.
Cara 30 yrs, Cole Adopted 27, Kali 24,
Clay Adopted 15, and Case 10 yrs old who I
actually had at 44 yrs of age after a
tubal and 20 yrs between biological
children. What a shock. My daughter Cara
is also a veterinarian and is now in practice with my
husband Rick.She is married to Terry Oliver
and I have my first Granchild a five year old named Casey.
Cole is a auctioneer who does car and horse auctions and is also a professional cowboy. Clay is in 9th grade and does rodeo and karate. Case the little one is 10 and in the fourth grade.

not what I had planned at this stage of
my life. My daughter Kali (24) has been
sick with a brain disease since she was two and has outlived every expectation but now is fighting for her life with acute leukemia. She is my angel
and my journey with her has made me into the person that I am. I am extremely thankful that
God blessed me with her.
I am happy and healthy and often think
about old friends and my days in
school. It is hard to believe that 38
years has passed. I would love to hear
from anyone that remembers me. The
30year reunion was great and am looking forward to another.
Just An Update -- 10/25/08. My daughter
Kali died october 2 --She was in remission from the leukemia but had a massive brain bleed that we could
not beat -- She is now an angel and I am in the process of having a website constructed to share her life story.
I will post the address when completed. Also my older daughter just gave birth to my second grandchild 8 weeks ago. Hope to hear from old friends
