Life Spent 9 years between the Army/AR/CA-ARNG. I new if I re-enlisted again I'd end up spending at least 20 years in the service. My favorite unit was the 4/498th Med. Co. (a Dustoff unit). It was my first assignment, I arrived as a kid and spent two years there. When I left, I'm sad to say I was still a kid... A lot of the lessons I should have learned didn't come until later in life. We mostly had a good group of guys in that unit: Sgt. Chad St. Francis, SSG Stallworth, Mr. Lee, Mr. Olson, Cpt. Smathers, Mr. Gaither, SPC Ken King, SPC Allen, Maj.
